Shop Manager

A Glenview based engraver/repair store employer is looking for a Shop Manager to help run their successful business. This is a great opportunity to start or grow a career in the retail industry. No experience is required as long as you are a confident, dedicated and responsible individual who has the knowledge or is prepared to learn all the necessary skills to operate the business effectively. Full training will be provided and you will be supported through the on-the-job training period until you are able to manage shifts and the store on your own. Your duties will include key cutting, engraving, shoe, watch, and bag repair as well as other similar related services. Upon successful completion of the on-the-job advanced level 2 training your pay can go up to between $26 and $28 per hour and for the right candidate who is interested there is the possibility to franchise the store and own your own business. Must be adept at picking up new skills and working with hands on fine tasks as responsibilities will include engraving, watch/shoe repair and key cutting. Must have mature attitude, reliable and comfortable taking on managerial responsibilities. Must be able to work independently and unsupervised. Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Check, however, previous convictions considered on a case-by-case basis. Workplace zero tolerance drug and alcohol policy applies.
