Brook Valley Holiday Park and Matai Campground, Nelson (ROLE: CAMPGROUND ASSISTANT) Daily Tasks Involved in the role: Interact with the guests showing them their sites and dealing with general enquiries. Carry out minor repairs and housekeeping, including cleaning of internal cabins, kitchen and common rooms, rubbish collection and gardening, blowing paths, sweeping etc. This part time role will be on a 6 month period fixed term initially with a max of 40 hours per week, some weekends may be required.
The ideal candidate will be: • Focused on providing high levels of customer service • Flexible in their times to be able to work – with a definite 30 hours per week • Fit and reliable • Able to remain calm under pressure • Experienced in general cash handling / cash reconciliation • Highly motivated and able to work autonomously • Computer literate in MS Office • Able to drive, with a Full Class 1 driver’s license. • Trained in First Aid (Certificate advantageous).
