If so, this employer is looking for passionate and motivated Youth Workers to join their team in Lower Hutt working with youth offenders. This employer is looking for people to help guide and transform Rangatahi by providing meaningful mentorship and caring for them in an environment of love and respect within a Kaupapa Maori framework. More duties include engaging, motivating, and empowering Rangatahi, whilst having a strong focus on their physical and psychological wellbeing. Ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Temporary and permanent roles available, call today!
Job Requirements
These roles are not for the faint hearted…you will ideally have previous experience working with Rangatahi (young people); however, we do offer full training, upskilling and support for the right people. You must pass pre-employment drug test and police vetting check / Oranga Tamariki vetting check but employer is willing to consider convictions on a case by case basis.
