Are you a natural-born leader that likes to be hands on and lead by example? Perhaps you dislike mornings and prefer to be productive in the evening? If so, then this may be the role for you! As a leading hand, you will ensure that you are maintaining good cleaning and safety practices, and effectively leading your staff to produce excellent standards at all times. Whether this be ensuring staff are wearing correct PPE, following safe work practices, checking equipment, etc. Tasks also include ensuring staff are clocked in on time, filling out necessary paperwork, undertaking periodic inspections and reporting performance to the area supervisor, reporting any bullying or dangerous work practices if it cannot be managed on site, and so much more! Staff start at 3:30pm and finish at 7:30pm, however, as the cleaning team leader, you will start at 3pm and finish at 8pm - to ensure that you are set up prior and get relevant information needed for the day, and lock up at the end of shift.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not mandatory as full training will be provided to the right candidate.Random drug testing may apply. Minor convictions considered on a case-by-case basis.

Days of work
Monday to Friday, 3pm - 8pm. No weekend work required. (25 hours per week)
