An apparel wholesaler based in Mt Wellington is currently seeking a self-motivated Account and Admin Assistant to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis. Duties include bank reconciliations, managing customers late payments, confirming credit returns note, sending out monthly statements to customers, processing new trading account applications, checking suppliers’ invoices, reconciling overseas creditors payments, ensuring insurance is up-to-date and all orders are received and processed daily whilst complying with building codes and licences. This employer specialises in a comprehensive range of apparel such as work/ school uniforms, polo shirts and sportswear. The fabric composition of their garments are pure cotton, poly cotton, quick dry (moisture wicking) polyester, merino and tech bonded shower proof or wind proof materials. They also specialise in technical fabrications such as embroidery, printing and screen printing. The start and finish times are negotiable.
Candidates must be able to work independently and have at least 1 year accounting experience with excellent communication skills (written and verbal). You must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with a keen eye for detail. You must be drug-free and able to pass a police check. There is no vaccination requirement for this role.
