New Zealands largest provider of food and support services is looking for a Cleaning Assistant to work on weekends at its Senior Living site in Birkenhead, Auckland. Hours of work are a minimum of 16 hours per week. In this position, you will be responsible for cleaning of the residents rooms and general areas (including bathrooms, toilets, rooms and offices); vacuuming and polishing floors; emptying rubbish; maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals; manage cleaning duties in a timely manner; adhere to health, safety and security procedures. Job Requirements
You will have high attention to detail, take pride and ownership of the role, be well presented, friendly, helpful, and have an outgoing personality and a can-do attitude. You will demonstrate good working knowledge of commercial cleaning and infection control procedures and have excellent communication and strong organisational skills. Ideally you will have previous cleaning experience in an aged care environment. A full security clearance and police vet is required.
