Community Support Worker, Mental Health

Full time and Part time Support Worker roles have become available within the Dunedin area. These positions will provide support to people with an intellectual disability to participate within their community. Candidates must be comfortable with helping an adult with personal cares which will include helping with toileting and showering. You will need to be flexible in your ability to work on different days and times of the week, including some evenings, sleepovers, and weekends. Previous experience not necessary as full training is provided. Candidates must be competent in using technology, have good literacy and numeracy skills as some report writing will be involved, have a full New Zealand driver licence or a restricted licence and can go for full within 3 months. Must be able to pass a security police check. Pay range $22.49- $28.25 per hour depending on relevant qualifications, with the ability to earn more as gain qualifications.
